The Crane & Co. Engraved & Letterpressed Stationery sale begins today!  When you buy 100 pieces of letterpressed or engraved stationery you receive the dies for FREE.  This is the best sale and the time to buy stationery.  Personally, this is always when I buy my stationery.  The dies usually cost $48 per die and they are reusable - so you could feasibly have engraved or letterpressed stationery for 

your whole life!

We are having a huge sidewalk sale with our neighbors at Sweet Home & Gifts this week.  I'll try to give sneak peaks this week of inventory that will be majorly discounted.  For example, all of our Easter Invitations and card stock will be 75% Off!!!!  Our business hours during the sale will be the same as our regular business hours: 

Monday - Friday 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Personalized Toss Bag

We recently picked up this monogrammed bag for one of our clients.  Typically we put the single initial Toss stickers on these bags - which always look cute.  However, we were out of "B" and this client really wanted her last name on the bag.  I really like the way that this looks and will definitely be doing more of these for clients.  What a great end of year teacher gift!  The bags plain are $25, then the single initial stickers are $5 or having it personalized is $14.  Not bad!  Call or email us if you don't have time to make it into the store and we can get this done for you.

A dear friend of mine forwarded me THIS LINK to a New York Times article on the impact of the hand written note in this age of technology.  I could not agree more with the sentiments of this article.  Because we are so inundated with emails, texts, etc. the hand written note certainly makes an even larger impact.

Pretty Guest Book

I recently had a sweet high school student and her mother come into the store for a guest book.   The two had recently been to a party where the honoree had a guest book that she had used for all the major milestones in her life: high school graduation, debut, college graduation, wedding and anniversary parties.  Such a sweet idea.  So the student and her mother selected a monogrammed guest book that she too can use for her life milestones.  I adore her selections - white silk dupioni with a white monogram and a blush satin bow.
