Happy 1st Day of Spring!

 Happy 1st Day of Spring!  This is my favorite time of year.  I go through phases where I have lots of ideas for blog posts, but recently it's been a little dry (in case you haven't noticed).  But, since it is the first day of spring I thought I would get it together and share a few of my favorite spring-y things.  The above pack of rose bouquet gift tags is perfect for spring.  It would also be a lovely touch on bridesmaids gifts.  So sweet.

Then, I am currently OBSESSED with these letterpress notepads.  That's right - letterpressed notedpads!  I love the colors, I love the designs, I love the paper AND they're letterpressed.  It doesn't get any better.  So on the pretty day, come in and get a few spring pick-me-ups.

I was just reading a post on Style Me Pretty about a really fun looking New Hampshire wedding (CLICK HERE).  You should read it and watch their "wedding video" - it is awesome in a real wedding sort of way.  Anyhow, the couple had the above sign at their bar - which I ADORE!  I thought it was fitting for a Friday.  And just so that I can say this is business related - we can and do print bar signs, menus, programs, etc. for weddings.  So if you need this sign for your wedding - just let us know!

An Invitation for A Groom

Things have been a little quiet here in the store this week...  This statement does not hold true for the rest of Austin though.  People keep asking me if I am doing any of the SXSW events and I simply say, "no - I have 22 month old twins".  So, back to my world...

I just printed a fun invitation for a sporting clay shoot and lunch for a groom and his groomsmen on the day of his wedding.  His uncle and aunt are throwing this shoot and lunch for him, which I think is very sweet.  Obviously, we tend to do more invitations for brides - so this invitation was super fun to design.  See, we can do masculine!  I hope he and his friends and family have a great time. 

New Stuff - For Me!

So it's Monday.

The first Monday after the daylight savings time switch.

It's also Spring Break and SXSW here in Austin.

Needless to say - it's a little quiet here in the store today.  But don't worry, I've been working on projects for myself!  That's right - what better way to spend my time than on some new stationery and calling cards for myself.  A few weeks back we got some awesom 2-sided wrapping paper in the store an it has been calling my name.  So I decided to create some stationery for myself so that I could use the wrapping paper as envelope liners.  Obviously, since it is 2-sided paper I needed to design 2 different sets of stationery for myself.  Then, I decided I was also in the market for some calling cards.  There are some small, square calling cards in one of our vendors albums that I love and so I decided square was the way to go.  When I'm here at the store working (which is a lot), I don't often take the time to make or order things for myself.  I'm actually in the market for some stationery - so I guess the quiet Monday was fortuotus (for once).  

If anyone else wants some stationery - just let me know.  I have some free time on my hands now that I've finished my own stationery and calling cards.  

Just In Time for Spring Break...

We just received our shipment of Toss Bags yesterday!  These bags are practically industructable and cute.  The large tote is perfect for groceries, a pool or beach bag, to hold toys or for magazines.  The insulated tote is also good for picnics, groceries and tailgaiting.  These are always fabulous gifts!  All can be personalized with single initial stickers in the store - instant gratification!

Parisienne Baby Shower Invitation

We recently designed and printed a Parisienne inspired baby shower invitation that incorporated elephants.  Yes - we get requests like this!  But the good news is that we can deliver when clients come in with requests likes this.  The actual invitation was very simple with a retro, etched looking elephant at the top and the text in black, except for the honorees names which were in light pink (because they are having a baby girl).  The back of the invitation we printed with black and white stripes, reminiscent of the awnings on outdoor Parisienne cafes.  I thought the invitation was lovely!
I hope the parents-to-be thought so too.

Monogramming Galore

Whenever we get our monogramming orders back I always get super excited... and a little bit jealous, I won't lie. Who doesn't want every thing they own monogrammed? I think it's a Southern thing... Anyway, we love taking your monogram orders because the result is always such a fun surprise!
